Wet Scrubbers are useful equipments in controlling air pollution. A dirty stream of gas is introduced into a scrubbing liquid, which is usually water and dirty particles or gases are collected in the liquid, thereby acting as an effective means of controlling air pollution using just a single system. Depending on the application of the wet scrubber, different parameters are taken into consideration for designing different types and sizes of wet scrubbers.
