Ribbon Blender Manufacturers
The ribbon blender gets its name from a double helical ribbon agitator that rotates inside a U-shaped horizontal trough. The helical ribbons are affixed to spokes that are welded onto the agitator’s shaft which is in the middle of the trough. The “double helical” structure is due to the presence of a pair of inner and outer helical ribbons on the agitator.
The ribbon blender functions by mixing all the material that is poured into the blender. The material is filled up to the mark of the outer ribbon’s tip, which roughly constitutes 50 to 75 percent of the complete volume of the blender.
